Our client is looking for a Commercial Superintendent.


Job Sites are located in Ventura County.


Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret and enforce contracts, specifications, and project plans.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools.
  • OSHA certification and other relevant safety training preferred.
  • Ability to travel to various project sites as needed.


Job Summary:


Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects from inception to completion. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing on-site operations, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining schedules, and delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of commercial construction processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily on-site operations for commercial construction projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project timelines.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts to ensure project accuracy.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and resolve any potential issues.
  • Lead and motivate on-site teams, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all construction activities, including progress reports and change orders.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
  • Address and resolve any conflicts or delays that may arise during construction.
