Linedata is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Sales Engineer to join our innovative and growing team in Boston. In this exciting role, you’ll be at the forefront of our client-facing sales efforts, delivering tailored product demos and solutions that help solve complex challenges for our clients. You will be showcasing our comprehensive range of solutions, including order management, compliance, NAV oversight, and seamless integrations, all while building strong relationships with prospects and existing clients.
This hybrid position offers flexibility, with the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team 2 days a week in our Boston office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement : Work closely with prospects, existing clients, and industry professionals to understand their needs, challenges, and business objectives, tailoring solutions accordingly.
- Customized Demonstrations : Deliver personalized product demos that highlight the best features, functionality, and integration points of Linedata’s solutions.
- Sales Support : Assist in the sales cycle by providing follow-up demos, addressing client questions, and collaborating with Sales Executives and Account Managers to drive conversions.
- Expert Guidance : Develop an in-depth knowledge of Linedata’s Asset Management platform to provide expert-level recommendations and solutions.
- Solution Presentations : Effectively communicate value propositions to various stakeholders across client organizations, from end-users to senior executives.
- Collaboration Across Teams : Work with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering teams to enhance Linedata’s offerings and stay aligned with industry trends.
- RFI/RFP Involvement : Play an active role in the RFI and RFP processes by providing necessary technical expertise.
- Thought Leadership : Contribute to webinars, content creation, and other outreach activities to educate industry partners about Linedata’s innovative solutions.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience : 5+ years in financial services with a strong focus on product demonstrations, sales engineering, or similar roles. SaaS or fintech experience is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge : Deep understanding of asset management and financial products, with the ability to engage with senior executives and business leaders.
- Communication Skills : Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of tailoring discussions to a wide range of audiences.
- Travel : Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
