Business Development Manager - Drayage Industry

Location: Long Beach, CA (Hybrid)
Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 (Direct Hire) + Bonus Potential
Vaco LA is partnering with a leading company in the Drayage industry to find a Business Development Manager who can drive new business growth and expand the company's market presence. Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within the Drayage industry .
• Proactively engage with potential clients via phone, email, and online channels to generate leads.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop sales strategies and close deals.
• Track sales activities and manage a customer pipeline through CRM tools (Salesforce experience is a plus) .
  

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Business Development experience required , with a strong track record in sales and client acquisition.
• Must have experience in the Drayage industry , with an existing book of business preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
