Position: Product Segment Sales Manager – Tour, Charter, and Limo (TCL)

In this high-visibility role, you’ll drive sales growth, shape comprehensive sales strategies, and position yourself as the go-to industry expert and thought leader for the TCL product line.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, you’ll lead sales initiatives and training efforts across the product segment, playing a pivotal role in influencing the future of our organization and the market we serve.

Your Impact as Product Segment Sales Manager
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales and training strategies for the TCL product segment to drive revenue growth.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis, tracking industry trends, technological advancements, and customer needs to stay ahead of the curve.
- Perform competitive analysis to identify opportunities for market positioning and growth.
- Monitor product trends to guide future product development and sales strategies.
- Create accurate annual sales forecasts and lead the team to achieve product segment sales quotas through both direct and indirect efforts.
- Partner with field sales teams to provide expert product knowledge and support sales initiatives.
- Design and deliver robust training programs for sales teams to enhance product understanding and sales effectiveness.
- Conduct joint sales calls with field representatives to engage key accounts and drive sales.
- Identify growth opportunities and new markets within the TCL product segment.
- Establish yourself as a thought leader and industry expert within the product and market segment.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Provide strategic guidance, motivation, and support to the sales team, assisting with strategy, negotiation, and closing complex deals.
- Attend high-profile customer meetings to drive results and ensure success.
- Foster a culture of accountability, driving sales teams to meet and exceed product segment quotas.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, ensuring their feedback informs company strategies.
- Manage a portfolio of high-profile accounts to maintain direct customer engagement.
- Collaborate with RVPs, RSDs, and sales teams to integrate customer insights into regional and local sales approaches.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to expand networks and enhance brand visibility.
Market and Competitive Intelligence:
- Develop detailed reports on market trends, including advancements in specialty vehicle manufacturing, customer preferences, and emerging market opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Product Line team to conduct competitive benchmarking, pricing strategy analysis, and market share tracking.
- Provide monthly and quarterly intelligence briefings for senior leadership.
- Identify potential market disruptions and translate insights into actionable sales and product strategies.
Training and Sales Support:
- Create and implement an ongoing training curriculum for TCL product lines, collaborating with marketing teams to develop materials like product guides and presentations.
- Conduct regular in-person and virtual training sessions to enhance the sales team's product knowledge and effectiveness.
- Join sales representatives on key account calls to provide real-time coaching and support.
- Develop and share best practices and sales methodologies tailored to the specialty vehicle segment.
Performance Metrics:
- Achieve national year-over-year growth in sales revenue, unit sales, and profitability for the TCL segment.
- Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Deliver accurate and impactful market intelligence reports.
- Expand market share and penetrate new markets while acquiring new customers.
- Drive individual sales success with key accounts.

Required Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of proven experience within the shuttle bus industry to tour, charter, and limo companies or a complimentary industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in market research and competitive intelligence.
- Proven track record of managing a large sales territory and exceeding sales targets.
- Proven experience in sales training and team coaching.
- Proficiency in advanced market research tools and CRM software.
- The candidate must have a willingness to travel via plane and car within the US approximately 50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Experience within a large regional / national dealership atmosphere is a plus.
- Advanced analytical skills with ability to interpret complex market and sales data.
- Strong strategic thinking and forward-looking market analysis capabilities.
