Work Schedule:
- Full Time – Monday-Friday, 9/80 schedule
- Overtime is not expected but could be possible based upon business needs and will occur only when requested and approved by manager
Travel Requirements:
- Potentially 2-3 domestic business trips expected per year
- Potential locations of travel include Las Vegas and events in California
Job Description:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Events Tech Coordinator to join our Experiential
Marketing Technical team. Primary responsibilities will include support for Dolby Experiential
activations, Tradeshows, and Virtual Events.
The ideal candidate should be professional, dependable, and have a great attitude. This role
requires someone who is self-reliant, detailed, extremely organized, and can manage multiple
projects at once. The candidate should also be extremely comfortable with seeking resources
to adapt environments to ever changing technology and specifications and be able to fluidly
adapt to rapidly changing infrastructure needs.
This role will be based in San Francisco, CA and will report to the Experiential Events Lead AV
Tech Manager.
Responsibilities
- General support of the technical team on potential upcoming activations such as,
by example:
o Formula One 2025
o CES 2026
o SXSW 2025
o CinemaCon 2025
- General organizational support of the team with systems troubleshooting.
- Support with systems testing.
- Support with inventory organization, documentation and event planning support.
- Support with team systems innovation.
- Staffing support at events managed and produced with the aid of the technical team.
Education:
- BA or BS, preferably in a field related to marketing, event production, audio engineering, radio and tv broadcasting, or similar
Experience:
- 2-4 years’ experience in work areas related to AV production management and/or event production
- General Technical Aptitude
- High level of attention to detail
- High level of information management and general organizational skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and engage in critical thinking
- Interest and curiosity regarding technical troubleshootin
- Working knowledge of both Mac and Windows OS
- Experience with MS Outlook, Smartsheet, Omnigraffle
- Previous events/production experience preferred
- Comfortable with Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint
- Computer Networking knowledge is a plus
- Comfortable using light shop tools (hand tools/light power tools/electronics- soldering tools)
Requirements:
* Local Candidates only who can commute daily to the South San Francisco office
* Initial Assignment Length: 12 months with high possibility of extension depending on
