Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer 2, in Chillicothe, IL. The work will be done onsite. This is a long term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is $42/hr W2 + overtime pay, including full benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, and 401K. Cullerton Group will provide H1B Sponsorship.
Typical task breakdown:
- Planning and documentation of laboratory based testing and validation
- Setup and Execution of laboratory based testing
- Data analysis and documentation of results
- Inspection and documentation of Devices Under Tests (DUTs)
- Collaboration with peer organizations such as component and system design, component controls, component virtual product development, and others.
- Collaboration with laboratory support teams such as skilled trades, facility design, and facility controls.
Interaction with team :
- Daily collaboration with other test engineers and technical experts
Work environment :
- Time is split between Office (50%) and Test Laboratory (50%)
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelors or Masters in Engineering.
- 0 – 5 years of Experience
- Will also consider individuals with High School degree or Equivalent and relevant hands on experience such as Mechanic, Electrician, Farming, Military Service. 5+ years of experience.
