Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer 1 role in Pontiac, IL. The work will be done onsite. This is a long term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is $34/hr + OT including benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, 401K and holiday pay. Cullerton Group will provide sponsorship.

Providing technical expertise to aspects of production, cost, quality, and compliance to safety for the assembly of fuel injectors

Typical task breakdown:

• Troubleshooting assembly equipment if needed
• Assisting in process improvements for current assembly process
• Understanding and walking back issues that occur due to first test pass failures
• Creating and updating all APQP elements

Interaction with team :

Cross functional work with quality, manufacturing engineering, and operations

Work environment :

Offices are located inside of factory work settings

• Education & Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of experience
