Job Opportunity: Medical Lab Scientist II

Location : Birmingham, AL 35235

Schedule : 3rd shift (Sun - Thurs, 10:30 pm - 7:00 am)

Pay Range : $30-40 /hour (pay rate based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials)

Job Type : Contract with potential for extension. A great opportunity to work with a leading healthcare organization!

Responsibilities :

• Micro Molecular Testing : Perform molecular tests such as flu, strep, and COVID-19.
• Urinalysis and Coagulation Testing : Conduct urinalysis and coagulation tests.
• Night Shift Core Lab Technologist : Manage hematology, urine, and microbiology setups during the night shift.

Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Clinical Laboratory Science.
• Certification : Must hold an MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician) or MLS (Medical Laboratory Scientist) certification.
• Experience : Pay rate will be determined based on direct experience as listed in the resume.
