Accounting Manager
Our well-established client seeks an experienced Accounting Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled at balancing multiple priorities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and excels at both technical accounting tasks and fostering effective communication across teams. With a strong understanding of GAAP, advanced Excel skills, and a collaborative mindset, you’ll play a key role in driving financial accuracy and compliance while supporting the company’s growth.

Accounting Manager Responsibilities
Drive month-end close activities, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and GAAP compliance.
Oversee GL functions (fixed assets, journal entries, reconciliations, etc.) and daily cash reporting activities.
Prepare financial statements and support reporting/audit activities.
Manage tax documentation and filing of tax returns.
Support insurance renewals, ensuring compliance with requirements.
Ad-hoc reporting, accounting project support, and technical assistance for team members.

Accounting Manager Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required; active or inactive CPA a plus.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with public accounting background.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting concepts.
Distribution or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
Tech-savvy with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Deadline-driven with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Compensation: $100k–$120k (DOE) + Bonus
