Audit Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement audit strategies and plans to assess financial statements, internal controls, and risk management procedures.

Lead audit teams in conducting financial, operational, and compliance audits.

Ensure audits comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Identify and assess risks, providing actionable recommendations for process improvements.

Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP, IFRS, or other applicable accounting standards.

Present audit findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

Stay updated on emerging accounting and auditing regulations and best practices.

Assist in the development and implementation of internal control policies and procedures.

Mentor and train junior auditors, fostering professional growth and development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

CPA, CIA, or other relevant certification preferred.

Minimum of 5-7 years of auditing experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Strong knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.

Proficiency in audit software and financial systems.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in public accounting or a large corporate audit function.

Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.

Compensation:

$100 - $130k depending on education, experience and certifications.
