*JOB DESCRIPTION:*
Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Nursing, the Shift Supervisor/Relief Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the standards of nursing care and practices within the facility to meet the physical, psychosocial, and rehabilitation needs of the residents. Must have thorough knowledge of all residents and is required to work throughout the facility to perform tasks utilizing knowledge and skills.
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Work closely with RNs to ensure best possible functions of assigned unit and supervise unit employees
* Assists Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating and supervising the Nursing Services Department.
*REQUIREMENTS:*
* Degree from an accredited school of nursing
* Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York required
*ABOUT US:*
Absolut Care is comprised of five skilled nursing facilities and one assisted living facility in New York State, including: Absolut Care of Allegany in Allegany, Absolut Care of Aurora Park in East Aurora, Absolut Care of Gasport in Gasport, Absolut Care of Orchard Brooke in Orchard Park, Absolut Care of Three Rivers in Painted Post and Absolut Care of Westfield in Westfield.
