Seeking an Animal Research Associate for our client - a global pharmaceutical powerhouse.

**Type** : Contract (12 months, possibility of extension)

**Location:** North Wales, PA

**Pay:** $21.91/hr

**Responsibilities:**

+ Coordinate and execute animal studies for evaluation of vaccine candidates

+ Assistance of in vivo studies with handling, dosing, blood sampling, and necropsy of animals

+ Coordinate and carry out in vitro procedures such as, bacterial culture, tissue/blood sample processing, and simple formulations

+ Ensure high quality data generation and proper documentation of experimental designs, protocols, and findings

**Qualifications:**

+ Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences/related

+ 2+ years of animal work experience (mice and rats), dosing techniques (injections, oral gavage), blood collection, necropsies (organ tissue collection)

+ Experience with in vitro techniques requiring aseptic technique (e.g., bacterial culture, tissue sample processing, simple formulations)
