Our esteemed client, a global pharmaceutical powerhouse, known for developing and manufacturing a wide array of world-class pharmaceutical drugs, life-saving vaccines, and innovative animal-health products, is in search of an Animal Research Scientist to join their dynamic team.

**Pay:** Up to 31/hr

**Contract:** 1-2 Years

**_Qualifications:_**

**Education** : Minimum of an AS/BS/BA in Biology, Animal Science, or relevant fields.

**Laboratory Experience** : 3-6 years of hands-on laboratory experience, specifically with lab mice.

**Technical Skills** :

+ Proficient in animal handling techniques, including restraint and dosing (particularly via intravenous/tail vein administration).

+ Skilled in compound preparation and formulation.

+ Proficiency in cell culture techniques.

+ Experience performing ELISA or similar assays.

+ Familiarity with data graphing software such as Excel or GraphPad PRISM is a plus.

**Communication Skills** : Must be able to communicate effectively and work efficiently in a team-based environment.

**_Responsibilities:_**

+ Support preclinical discovery programs in the Boston In Vivo Quantitative Biosciences group focused on oncology drug discovery.

+ Conduct cell culture and prepare in vivo samples for analysis.

+ Formulate compounds and administer doses to laboratory animals.

+ Report and analyze data from experiments, including ELISA or MSD-based assays.

+ Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and effective project outcomes.
