Purpose:
The Accounts Payable Specialist ensures accurate and timely invoice payments to maintain Ascend/DTS’s strong financial standing and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process and code invoices with proper approvals.
• Ensure accurate and timely disbursement of payments.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and controls.
• Build strong vendor relationships through clear communication.
• Assist with 1099 preparation and administrative tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with the team to improve processes and efficiency.
• Uphold Ascend’s core values, including safety, integrity, and teamwork.
Qualifications:
• Experience in a high-volume transaction environment.
• Familiarity with bankruptcy laws, collections, and regulations.
• Proficiency in TMW, Microsoft Dynamics GP, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Education:
• High school diploma or GED required.
