One of the nation's leading Personal Injury law firms is seeking a Closing Legal Assistant. The Legal Assistant is a key member of a legal team responsible for finalizing cases after a settlement agreement has been reached. This role collaborates closely with paralegals and team supervisors to ensure smooth and efficient case closure.

We are ideally seeking candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish.

Additionally, we are targeting candidates that are detail oriented and a great multi-tasker. An outgoing personality with a knack for teamwork and client interaction is highly desirable for this role. Experience in the personal injury field is a big plus

Closing Legal Assistant Duties and Responsibilities

• Obtain signed settlement agreements from clients.
• Negotiate and reduce outstanding medical bills.
• Resolve lien interests by communicating with relevant entities.
• Coordinate with insurance adjusters to secure payments.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding settlement updates and case status.
• Ensure a seamless and supportive experience for clients, including obtaining feedback and reviews.
• Manage administrative tasks required to complete the case closure process.

Closing Legal Assistant Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required. College degree a big plus
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal or administrative role.
• Experience in client-facing or high-volume environments is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with case management software is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency is a big plus.
