About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for School Leadership at the high school level. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing a strategic plan that provides coherent supervision and support to high school principals, ensuring alignment with district initiatives and goals. This role involves leading principals in the development and implementation of processes to enhance staff knowledge and skills, with a focus on preparing all students for accelerated learning in a global economy. The Executive Director will also be instrumental in advancing the vision of learning and leading, supporting the professional growth of principals, and ensuring that the division's practices are designed to close achievement and opportunity gaps, particularly for historically marginalized students. Candidates for the Executive Director position must have a Master's degree in education or a related field, with a preference for a degree in school administration. A minimum of 6 years' experience in education, including at least 3 years as a campus principal in an urban setting, is required. The role demands a leader with a deep understanding of instructional and executive leadership, as well as a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development. The Executive Director will be expected to have a strong knowledge of current educational practices, data analysis, and the ability to design and implement effective professional development programs. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are preferred in some settings, and the candidate should be adept at building relationships, exercising discretion, and handling challenging situations with professionalism.
