What Will I be Doing?
As the Specialist E-commerce, you will support the online marketing efforts for Yield Management and Digital Marketing. The Specialist manages partnerships for the execution of Paid Search Marketing, Meta Search Hotel Ads, Display Advertising, and Affiliate Marketing Programs.
The Specialist Ecommerce is responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Drives new, incremental, and ancillary web direct hotel guest revenues from Company's website, hotel microsites, and/or other landing pages.
- Runs third party vendor relationships to implement specific web direct marketing programs and chairs monthly performance review with each vendor.
- Provides technical support in the form of hypertext markup language (HTML) coding, pixel implementation, and dashboard reporting setup.
- Works closely with the Creative Services department, IT, and digital agencies on creation and maintenance of existing and upcoming landing pages, banner placements, and paid social media placements.
- Works with IT, digital agencies, E-Commerce Manager, and Director of E-Commerce to sustain critical infrastructure for campaign execution. Responsible for pixel placement and setup for programs.
- Integrates data from various back-end services and databases, using Google Data Studio or other reporting tools.
- Provides metrics, standard methodologies, and updates regarding e-commerce trends and status reports to E-Commerce Manager.
- Builds and maintains standard operating procedure (SOP) documentation for all key business practices supporting day-to-day execution of the role so other team members can be cross-trained to provide supplemental support the function during seasonal peaks or in the event of absences due to illness or vacation.
- Advises Director of E-Commerce and E-Commerce Manger regarding open, pending, and upcoming IT tickets in prioritized queue and participates in internal calls with the IT team.
- Coordinates third party relationships with Google My Business, Bing Business Listings, TripAdvisor, other third-party vendors.
What Are We Looking For:
To fulfill this role optimally, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- A minimum three (3) years of experience in the e-commerce field required
- Experience working in digital marketing environments
- Self-sufficient and able to work in face paced environment
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.
