Job Description Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various areas of law, including but not limited to Civil Litigation and Family Law. This role requires excellent writing and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to conduct thorough legal research. The Associate Attorney will play a crucial role in providing high-quality legal services to our clients while contributing to the growth and success of our firm.ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and agreements.Provide legal advice and representation in various areas of law including Civil Litigation and Family Law.Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client management.Attend court hearings and mediations as necessary to represent clients effectively.Maintain organized case files and documentation to ensure compliance with legal standards.Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on their cases and answer any inquiries.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California bar - we are not accepting applications from JDs sitting for the bar exam.3-5 years attorney experience in a law office setting.Knowledge of Litigation and Family Law is highly desirable.Background in Estate Planning and/or Tax Law is also a plus but not required.Strong writing skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.Proficient negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients.Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for conducting thorough legal research.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple cases efficiently.Must be qualified and eligible to work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor visas at this time.Compensation:Our small firm is offering a starting salary between $100,000-$120,000 based on experience. After a 90-day probation period, you may be eligible for a raise dependent upon meeting billable requirements, staying on top of the workload, and meeting deadlines.
