Multibillion dollar distribution company is looking to hire a financial analyst. This role will provide financial support to the organization, working very closely with the Controller and CFO. The focus on the role will be manipulating, analyzing, and reporting on large volumes of data. In addition this role will partake in a number of special projects around streamlining, optimizing, and automation. Duties will include:

-Create monthly reporting packages for senior management

-Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process

-Develop and maintain financial models

-Prepare monthly analysis on financial results, including variance analysis and budget to actuals

-Utilize SQL to create reports and work with large volumes of transactions

-Develop and maintain company dashboards

-Perform business analysis and decision support and provide strategic insights to senior leadership

-Participate in special projects and automation initiatives

The Financial Analyst should possess the following:

-Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance

-2-4 years of progressive experience

-Good communication skills

-Excellent analytical abilities

-Strong system skills including proficiency with Excel (SQL or strong database background a plus)

-Experience with OneStream and/or PowerBI desired
