Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

Full-Time, Day Shift (Mon-Fri 8am-4pm)

Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000

About the Role:

As a Cytotechnologist in our health system, you'll play a vital role in diagnosing diseases by examining cells under a microscope. Your responsibilities will include:Specimen Handling:

Receiving and processing biological specimens such as fluids, tissues, and smears.FNA Procedures:

Assisting physicians with fine needle aspiration procedures and collecting patient samples.Slide Analysis:

Examining and classifying slides, identifying abnormal cellular changes, and presenting unusual cases to pathologists for further evaluation.Quality Assurance:

Maintaining accurate records of screening workload and adhering to regulatory standards (e.g., NYS Department of Health).Other Duties:

Performing various laboratory tasks as assigned.Qualifications:

New York State cytotechnologist license required.Bachelor of Science degree with ASCP Registry or Certified Cytology School Degree.Minimum 3 years of experience screening gynecological, non-gynecological specimens, and fine needle aspirations.Familiarity with the Bethesda system for cytology reporting.ThinPrep Certification.Benefits:
