Senior Accountant - Hybrid or Onsite out of Wakefield MA

This is a full-time, permanent position with full benefits.

Responsibilities:Financial records: Maintain and update financial records, including general ledgersFinancial reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including budgetsFinancial analysis: Analyze financial documents and prepare financial analyses. Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and alert the CFO if necessary.Coordinate semi-annual audits and assist the CFO in running audits.Payroll: Record and verify transactions, and produce payrollReconciliation: Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance including financial and bank statementsMonetary policies: Ensure that the company's monetary policies are applied accurately

Skills:5 years of accounting experienceEffective communicationStrong leadershipCritical thinkingTime managementAttention to detailProficiency with QuickbooksAdvanced Excel skills

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accountingThey may also have their CPA, or be a CPA candidate
