Our organization is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in accounting and finance, ready to make a significant impact on our company's financial operations. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a variety of financial procedures, including monthly closing processes, managing account statements, forecasting, and compliance with GAAP.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all aspects of our monthly financial close process. This includes, but is not limited to, reviewing and preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with company policy and GAAP.Lead the financial forecasting process, including revenue and expenditure trends, and provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections.Ensure compliance with all internal controls, policies, and procedures, as well as regulatory compliance.Assist with the preparation of year-end audits and coordinate with external auditors as necessary.Continuously evaluate current accounting practices and policies and drive continuous improvement.Collaborate with team members across the organization to support overall department goals and objectives.

Job Details

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. An advanced degree or professional certification such as a CPA is highly desirable.Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role.Strong understanding and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Proven experience with financial forecasting and risk analysis.Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with advanced Excel skills.Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, organizational, interpersonal, and team-oriented skills.Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
