We are looking for a dedicated, supportive and motivated individual to join our growing practice. InVia Fertility Specialists is a state-of-the-art Chicagoland fertility clinic with a strong patient-centered focus. Our highly trained staff understand the importance of maintaining a supportive and comfortable environment for each patient. Our goal for our patients; to achieve a timely and successful pregnancy.
InVia Fertility is looking for a part-time, Ultrasound Technician to assist our ever-growing practice at our Rockford location. Training will be conducted at our Hoffman Estates location. We need someone who is empathetic, supportive and can work in a team-oriented environment. We need someone who has 1-2 years ultrasound experience in a women's healthcare setting and is a graduate of an accredited ultrasound program. Compensation is based on experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in phlebotomy; however, we are willing to train the right person who demonstrates a strong willingness to learn. This position is required to do phlebotomy. Hours are 7:30am - 3:30pm
- Performs pregnancy, pelvic, baseline, and follicular sonograms.
- Records ultrasound data.
- Explains procedures (cyst aspirations, hystersonograms) to patients and collects informed consent to performed procedures.
- Calibrates and tests the equipment to OSHA standards.
- Maintains ultrasound data. Completes/records all specific documentation correlated with sonographic procedures.
- Prepares the room and equipment for procedures.
- Performs Phlebotomy.
- Assists clinical staff when necessary.
