TRC’s client has an opportunity for a highly skilled Controller (SVP level) with extensive experience in the construction industry to lead our senior-level accounting and finance team. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing high-volume financial operations across multiple, semi-independent business units, ensuring seamless financial reporting, compliance, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Financial Leadership & Strategy
o    Oversee financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
o    Lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
o    Develop and implement financial controls and best practices across all business units.
o    Collaborate with senior leadership to drive financial strategies that align with business objectives.
•    Accounting & Compliance
o    Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, adhering to GAAP and international accounting standards.
o    Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
o    Oversee tax compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements for domestic and international operations.
•    Systems & Process Optimization
o    Leverage Coupa, Procore, and NetSuite to enhance financial workflows and reporting.
o    Continuously assess and refine financial processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
o    Drive automation and technology adoption to streamline operations.
•    Operational Finance
o    Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning for multiple business units.
o    Support job costing, project accounting, and contract financial management.
o    Work cross-functionally with project managers, procurement, and operations teams to ensure financial alignment.
Qualifications:
•    10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with a strong background in construction accounting.
•    Experience with NetSuite is required. With in Coupa and Procore preferred
•    Experience with international business operations, including foreign exchange, compliance, and reporting.
•    Strong ability to adapt quickly to evolving processes and business needs.
•    Demonstrated experience leading and developing senior-level finance teams.
•    Proven ability to manage high-volume financial operations across multiple business units.
•    CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred but not required.
