Luxury Hotel Director of FinanceLuxury hotel is seeking a Director of Finance. In this role, the candidate will have experience reporting to and advising directly with ownership, management, and the operational team onsite. This role will require meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, management and leadership skills of the accounting team, tact and diplomacy in dealing with various stakeholders, and the ability to work in an ambiguous environment.Qualifications
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, CPA or MBA preferred4+ years as Director of Finance in a Hotel setting with multiple outlets, 100+ rooms, $10M+ RevenueExperience managing proper cash flow at all timesExperience with de-centralized accounting, closing down to cashExperience filing and completing regular tax documentsAbility to see the big picture and the role that Finance playsProven history of developing financial strategies and advising stakeholdersResponsibilities
Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controlsManage accounting team and ensure prompt and accurate full-cycle bookkeepingReview, approve, and complete all balance sheet reconciliationAdvise the General Manager and the executive team on all financial mattersPrepare reports for ownership as requestedPrepare month-end and year-end statementsPrepare and submit all tax payments and filingsParticipate in a year-end outside auditCommunicate with ownership, management, and onsite leadershipEnsure the proper execution of payrollBenefits
