Job Description
Volt is immediately hiring for a Certified Payroll Administrator for the construction industry in Stockton, CA.

As a Payroll Administrator, you will:

- Execute the full payroll cycle

- Weekly and daily processing
- Report generation
- Accurate job cost posting for field personnel working on private, prevailing wage, and union projects.

- Manage union reporting and remittances, benefits administration, and payroll tax compliance for California and Nevada employees
- Prepare, compile, submit, and review certified payroll reports, ensuring compliance through systems like DIR, LCP Tracker, and other online platforms.
- Review subcontractor certified payroll reports for compliance
- Process new hires and terminations, and tracks employee PTO
- Monitor and tracks subcontractor compliance and labor records

This is a full time, direct hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

- 3-5 years of payroll/HR experience preferred
- Experience with Foundation Software preferred; experience with LCP Tracker and DIR portal (for certified payroll) required
- Construction industry experience required
- Union experience is required
- Understanding of Certified Payroll required
- Knowledge of prevailing wage required.

Salary: $30-38/hr.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
