Director of Business Development . This role has experience and domain expertise to assist in delivering Oracle solutions to customers within the Federal Civ, DoD and Canadian Federal customer base.ResponsibilitiesWhat You Will Do:Support strategic planning across the Federal sales teamsIdentify potential teaming opportunitiesAssist in driving executive engagementsOversee special projectsAlign Oracle’s priorities to our customer’s strategies and mission needsProvide key Federal insights to assist in Oracle supporting the mission of each customerDrive integrated account plansCreate and deliver effective client presentations that address the specific needs of a clientDevelop a marketing strategy and assist with planning and executing sales initiativesEngage industry partnersMaintain courteous, professional, and effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organizationBasic Requirements :Provide excellent customer service, communicate effectively with corporate staff and external business partners, and meet project deadlinesSuccessful track record of leads, proposals, and opportunitiesResponsible for providing leadership and expertise with federal acquisition vehicles such as SAM.gov, GSA e-Buy, and GSA schedulesWorking knowledge of SBA and FAR rules and regulationsExcellent proposal writing and verbal skills with an attention to organization, detail, and quality presentationBachelors or equivalent required, Advanced degree in relevant field of studies preferred5+ years of experience as a business development manager in the federal market space5+ years expanding business by partnering with Federal System IntegratorsPartners with the Sales leadership team to ensure the best growth strategy is established and implemented to continually identify relevant new business opportunitiesExperience managing business pipelines, forecasting, and proposal developmentExperience working in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment with a collaborative and productive work styleExcellent critical thinking, analytic, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work quickly, accurately, and collaboratively to meet deadlinesHighly responsive and able to identify and address high-priority tasksCompetitive, energetic, and motivated to exceed personal and established goalsStrong proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)High level of attention to detailPositive attitude, even when under pressureAbility to work to meet deadlines (nights, weekends, and holidays, at times)Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as teaming partnersSound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential informationMust be US Citizen and local to the DC areaCome Join Us!#LI-PA4Disclaimer:Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations onlyUS: Hiring Range in USD from: $113,100 to $185,100 per annum.
