*Job Overview*
* Responsible for the timely and accurate verification of all medication orders and safely prepares medications and other pharmaceuticals for dispensing to patients of BMC, its clinics and all eligible employees.
* Researches, educates and communicates drug information to physicians, house staff, nurses, other healthcare providers and patients/families. Is knowledgeable of automated medication dispensing process/reports and adheres to all applicable departmental and hospital policies/procedures.

*Requirements*
* *3+years extensive acute care clinical experience*
* *DOCTORAL DEGREE IN PHARMACY REQUIRED - Not negotiable*
* Experience with computer operations, unit dose drug dispensing systems, IV admixture and parenteral chemotherapy admixture experience preferred.
* Must demonstrate the ability to work independently, without direct supervision within established policy.
* Must be capable of supervising the work of support personnel.
* Traveller must have their own vehicle for this need
