Job Title: Registered Nurse
Summary:
As a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in our Coronary Care Subacute department. You will work within the nursing process to deliver safe direct care to assigned patients, collaborating with the healthcare team to implement and document individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe direct care to an assigned group of patients, incorporating age-specific considerations.
- Implement and document individualized care plans, including discharge planning and patient/family teaching.
- Assist with special tests and procedures, ensuring proper consent has been obtained.
- Participate in orientation and assume precepting responsibilities for new personnel.
- Administer medication via the Seven Rights, documenting and communicating clinical findings.
Qualifications:
- Essential:
Program Graduate, Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate, RN in NM or reciprocal agreement. - Nonessential:
Bachelor's Degree, Bilingual English/Spanish, Nationally Certified in area of specialty.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires heavy physical demands, exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people.
Working Conditions:
This position involves significant hazards, requiring personal protective equipment (PPE), particularly with chemicals and biohazardous materials.
