Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse

Sign-on Bonus and Relocation Reimbursement Available

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 Months ICU Experience Preferred

Compensation

Minimum Offer: $30.84/hr

Maximum Offer: $39.33/hr

Job Summary:

Work within the nursing process to provide direct care to assigned patients. Provide clinical leadership and assume relief charge duties when designated. Serve as a role model to promote a positive work environment and quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Safety 1: Follow hospital safety policies and procedures
  • Development: Enhance professional growth through educational programs and current literature
  • Environment: Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients/families
  • Patient Safety 2: Identify and report situations that may put patients at undue risk
  • Polices: Work within hospital, nursing division, and departmental policies
  • Care Plan: Implement and document individualized care plans incorporating age-specific considerations
  • Medication: Administer medication via the Seven Rights and document clinical findings
  • Tests and Procedures: Assist with special tests and procedures
  • Emergency Measures: Assist with or institute emergency measures
  • Patient Care: Deliver safe direct care to an assigned group of patients
  • Medical Records: Ensure patient medical records contain necessary information
  • Inquiries: Answer telephones and triage calls according to departmental policy
  • Participation: Participate in orientation and assume precepting responsibilities
  • Patient Safety 4: Report potential or actual patient safety concerns
  • Patient Safety 5: Encourage patients to actively participate in their own care

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Essential: Program Graduate
  • Nonessential: Bachelor's Degree, Education Specialization: Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate

Experience:

  • Essential: No minimum experience required
  • Nonessential: Bilingual English/Spanish

Credentials:

  • Essential: CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers w/in 30 days, RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM, Basic Arrhythmia Cert w/in 1 year, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification w/in 6 months, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) w/in 6 months of hire
  • Nonessential: Nationally Certified in area of specialty, PALS, TNCC and/or ENPC

Physical Conditions:

Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people.

Working Conditions:

Essential: Sig Hazard: Chemicals, Bio Hazardous Materials require PPE.
