Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse on our Inpatient 5th Floor team, you will provide direct nursing care to assigned patients and assume leadership roles when needed.

You will work in collaboration with the healthcare team to implement individualized care plans and promote a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work within established policies and procedures to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Deliver safe and effective direct care to assigned patients.
• Participate in orientation and precepting responsibilities for new personnel.
• Encourage patient participation in their own care by asking questions and reporting concerns.

Qualifications:

• Education: Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate (Essential).
• Experience: No minimum experience required (Essential).
• Credentials: RN in NM or reciprocal agreement (Essential), CPR/BLS Certification (Essential).

Working Conditions:

Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 50 pounds frequently.

Physical demands are in excess of those for Medium Work.

Significant hazards include chemicals and bio-hazardous materials requiring PPE.
