Shift: 8 Hours Rotating
Experience: New grads can be considered; psych or ED experience preferred
License: Licensed to practice in the state of Michigan

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Behavioral Health team. As a RN, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families.
Responsibilities:
- Perform the nursing process as a basis for patient care
- Provide direction and oversight to licensed and non-licensed staff
- Show compassion through integrity, stewardship, empowerment, the promotion of diversity, and professional excellence
- Assess care needs, develop a plan of care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and continually reassess the plan according to care needs
- Collaborate with physicians to provide and coordinate nursing care to individuals and groups
- Teach families/significant others in discharge/aftercare planning needs
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and staff in both individual and group settings
- Document, report, and verify all necessary information according to established policies and procedures
- Monitor and report any potential risk to patient safety that could lead to an adverse outcome
Requirements:
- Able to provide culturally inclusive care with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community setting
- Licensed to practice in the state of Michigan
- New grads can be considered; psych or ED experience preferred
