Piper Life Sciences is seeking an Automation Engineer for its new pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Northern America. This will be the largest end-to-end cell manufacturing facility in the region.

The Automation Engineer will assist with automation systems projects involving technologies like DeltaV, and serve as a liaison to integrators to explain design requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Understand logic and principles from Denmark to replicate them for the Holly Springs Site.
• Communicate with integrators to explain design requirements.
• Have a thorough understanding of design concepts and architecture.
• Work cross-functionally with project managers, engineering, etc. to ensure programs remain compliant.
• Provide technical support for automation to other production-related engineering groups as needed.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in an Engineering discipline, with 3-5 years of transferable automation experience.
• 2+ years of experience with DeltaV.
• Automation/controls experience in an industrial environment.
