Weekend Radiologic Technologist (Contract) – (New graduates welcome, training provided)
Location: 310 East 14th Street, New York, NY 10003
Duration: 03/31/2025 – 05/31/2025 (60-day contract)
Schedule: Sat/Sunday 12am-8am
On-Call Required: No
Job Responsibilities:
Operate radiologic imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images
Prepare and position patients for radiographic procedures
Adhere to radiation safety and infection control protocols
Maintain and calibrate radiology equipment
Process and review imaging results, ensuring quality and accuracy
Document patient care services and maintain accurate records
Manage radiology supply inventory and ensure equipment functionality
Maintain a safe, professional work environment
Stay current with regulatory CME requirements and industry best practices
Requirements:
Education:
Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
Certifications & Licensure:
New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) – Required
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Certified) – Required
Experience:
No prior experience required (New graduates welcome, training provided)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Competency in performing diagnostic procedures
Additional Notes:
Position created due to staffing shortages and difficulty recruiting full-time employees
Must have a valid NYS license in hand before starting
