Job Title: Lead Core Java Developer (Banking Domain)

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Level Core Java Lead with a strong background in the banking domain to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Java technologies and a passion for developing high-performance, scalable applications in a cloud environment. This role requires leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior developers while driving technical excellence.

The Role

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design, development, and implementation of Java-based applications in the banking sector.
  2. Utilize advanced Java features, including Collections, Multi-Threading, and Concurrency, to create efficient algorithms and data structures.
  3. Leverage Java 17 features to enhance application performance and maintainability.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
  5. Implement and maintain Spring framework-based applications, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  6. Contribute to the architecture and design of cloud-based solutions, ensuring scalability and security.
  7. Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical support and knowledge sharing.
  8. Troubleshoot and optimize existing applications for improved performance and reliability.
  9. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the team is using the best practices.

Requirement:

You are:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. 10+ years of experience in Core Java development, with at least 3 years in a lead role.
  3. Strong experience in Collections, Multi-Threading, and Concurrency in Java.
  4. Proficient in Java 17 features and enhancements.
  5. Extensive experience with the Spring framework, including Spring Boot.
  6. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and cloud-native application development.
  7. Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
  8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  9. Strong communication and leadership skills.
