About the Role:

The Director of Structural Engineering will oversee the structural department, manage high-profile projects, and collaborate with other disciplines within the firm. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep technical expertise, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering innovative and efficient structural solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership on structural engineering projects across various sectors.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of structural engineers, fostering professional development and technical growth.
• Collaborate with in-house architects, civil engineers, MEP engineers, and other disciplines to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Engage in business development efforts, strengthening existing client relationships and pursuing new opportunities.
• Contribute to the firm's strategic growth , optimizing processes and expanding the structural engineering practice.

Qualifications:

• P.E. or S.E. license (California required)
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience , with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Proven ability to manage and mentor engineering teams
• Strong technical background in structural design, analysis, and construction methods
• Experience with commercial, institutional, and/or industrial projects
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple disciplines
• Business development experience and ability to cultivate client relationships is a plus
