This is an Area Sales Director role which is responsible for all client interfaces within the assigned account engagement. The ASD works together with their manager (Client Partner) to build an account plan and is responsible for client management, account growth, account marketing, and business operations for the designated account. Usually, the ASD handles a single account or part of a large account with upwards approx. P&L of $25MM.
Role Description
- Client relationship management and business development: manage client relationships, build a portfolio up to $30M, own the opportunity management cycle.
- Communication to client stakeholders, account marketing, managing all business operations including revenue, profitability, billing, and collections.
- Delivery assurance: Connecting a broad network of technical experts, serving as the single point of accountability for HCLTech service quality, and playing a central role in resolving client critical situations.
- Technology Expertise : Leveraging broad and deep technology expertise, build industry partnership to provide highly contextual insights into the benefits of emerging technology adoption.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in technology or Business Management from an accredited institution.
- Significant business development and project management experience. Technical knowledge around cloud, data & AI, automation, security, and network technologies, for co-creating client solutions.
- Experience in the Telecom vertical.
- Track record of interacting and building relationships with C-level client contacts.
- Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of industry-specific business issues and drivers.
- Experience managing large multi-location consulting engagement teams.
