Job Details: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Process Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent role that provides an excellent opportunity to be part of a leading manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective manufacturing processes. They will play a vital role in ensuring our manufacturing operations are running smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly in the area of polymer extrusion.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, monitor, and maintain efficient manufacturing processes and workflow. 2. Utilize PLC programming to optimize machine functionality and process efficiency. 3. Conduct process failure analysis to identify and rectify operational issues. 4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality and capacity. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and solve manufacturing issues. 6. Develop and implement strategies for reducing cost and improving product quality. 7. Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing personnel. 8. Ensure compliance with industry safety and design standards and guidelines. 9. Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of processes and make recommendations for improvements. 10. Participate in new product launch initiatives to ensure efficient and cost-effective integration into production.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a process engineering role within the manufacturing industry. 3. Proven experience in PLC programming and polymer extrusion is a must. 4. Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies and continuous improvement principles. 5. Demonstrated experience in process failure analysis and troubleshooting. 6. Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 7. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead projects to successful completion. 8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. 9. Strong knowledge of industry safety and quality standards. 10. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software.
