Job Summary
This role is a key part of our store team, working closely with the Team Leader to drive sales, manage labor and ensure excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent product knowledge and be passionate about creating a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Store Operations: Assist the Team Leader in all aspects of daily operations including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance and special projects as assigned.
- Team Development: Lead and develop Team Members, ensuring they have the skills and support needed to succeed.
- Customer Service: Maintain a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers at all times.
Requirements
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, able to motivate and inspire team members.
- Product Knowledge: Excellent product knowledge, able to advise customers on products and services.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, able to effectively communicate with team members, customers and management.
- Problem Solving Skills: Able to resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional manner.
Working Conditions
- Lifting: Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Standing/Walking: Standing/walking for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
- Hand Use: Single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
- Motions: Bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
