The candidate will be responsible to manage existing customer relationships with key marquee MedTech customers primarily based out of Americas region.

Key Responsibilities

  1. MedTech/Life Sciences Experience – it is desirable that the candidate has experience in account management for MedTech/Life Sciences across Core Engineering Services, Digital Engineering, Digital and Analytics, Cloud.
  2. Client relationship management and business development:
  3. This high energy role will manage existing MedTech client relationships, expand services and build a diverse portfolio through the opportunity management cycle.
  4. MedTech/Life Science space knowledge is essential for this role.
  5. These accounts have aggressive growth potential through cross sell and upsell, which the incumbent must drive.
  6. Own the strategic agenda for the account as well as create and manage executive level connects between customer and HCL executive teams.
  7. Ability to understand the industry trends and establish engaging dialogue with the client stakeholders.
  8. Having sold and enabled solutions around Core Product Engg., Manufacturing Engg., AD, Cloud, Digital and Analytics and Med device Security will be an added benefit.
  9. Client delivery assurance:
  10. Good understanding of MedTech connected/smart ecosystem.
  11. Drive thought leadership to help address customer business challenges by liaising effectively with various solution and practice teams internally, to bring timely solutions to the customer.
  12. Collaborate with all delivery stakeholders involved to ensure fulfilment of all commitments to the client.
  13. Work closely with and manage/guide internal stakeholders in delivery, recruitment and other supporting functions to align on goals and deliver for the customer.
  14. Account planning and governance:
  15. Create strategic roadmap to drive growth within the account/portfolio and execute that plan to drive incremental revenue, manage customer negotiations, driving pricing discussions, etc.
  16. Engage with horizontal and solution teams to proactively identify improvement/opportunity areas.
  17. Sell cross business unit solutions to the client.
  18. Expand HCL's footprint and come up with creative solutions that help solve business problems.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  2. 10-20+ years’ experience in selling and leading complex and transformation programs.
  3. Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations.
  4. Proven record of rapidly scaling up revenues consistently and Y-o-Y growth.
  5. Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment.
  6. Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  7. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and leadership ability.
  8. Track record of interacting and building relationship with C-level client contacts.
  9. Experience in the relevant industry/vertical.
  10. Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple activities in a very dynamic, changing environment.
  11. Account financial management, lead generation and ensuring CSAT.
