OVERVIEW


The Director of Training & Development will spearhead efforts to establish best-in-class training and development systems and processes throughout the restaurants. The launch of a learning management system is a critical initiative company wide. Upon launch, it will need continued oversight and management of the content.


This individual shall fully assess our “Manager in Training” program to improve its effectiveness. Lastly, the Director of Training & Development will lead our NRO team, including selection of corporate trainers and structure of NRO processes.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Effectively launch and manage a LMS company wide
  • Ensure training material is accurate and up to date at all times
  • Follow up on compliance and adherence to training standards
  • Working collaboratively with Human Resources, Operations, Culinary, and other departments to ensure joint projects and programs are effective- keeping abreast of operations critical issues and offers training solutions as appropriate
  • Oversee NRO team, evaluate current process and identify areas of efficiency
  • Provide real-time coaching, training, and support to restaurant leaders and team


REQUIREMENTS :


  • 5+ years in a training and development role, preferably at the Director level.
  • Thorough experience implementing and managing a LMS for restaurant company, splitting time 50/50 between HQ and restaurant visits
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Results-oriented with exceptional multitasking abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
  • Familiarity with the hospitality, restaurant, or lifestyle brand industry preferred.
