Job Title: Shipping Clerk
Location: Cranberry Township, PA

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our team. This role is responsible for processing customer orders, performing data entry, and ensuring shipments are prepared accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a forklift , using a Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system , and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Processing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Shipping & Receiving: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation and accuracy.
  • Data Entry: Enter and update shipment details in the system, maintain inventory records, and generate shipping labels.
  • MRP System Utilization: Use a Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system to determine material needs, order quantities, and scheduling requirements.
  • Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift and pallet jack to move and stage orders.
  • Order Wrapping: Secure and wrap shipments to prevent damage during transit.
  • Quality Control: Inspect packages for accuracy and ensure they meet company and customer standards.
  • Communication: Coordinate with customer service, warehouse staff, and carriers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • General Warehouse Duties: Maintain a clean and organized work area, assist with inventory counts, and follow all safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics required.
  • Experience using a Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system required.
  • Forklift operation experience required; certification preferred.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Ability to lift and move packages as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
