AZAD Technology Partners is seeking a Business Quality Analyst for a full-time, W2 Contract position based in Des Moines, IA.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Hybrid (2 days on-site / week).
Assignment Duration: 9 Weeks with possibility of extending.
Compensation & Benefits: Compensation is between $40.00 - $45.00 hourly. Benefits include Co-paid Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Cafeteria Plan, and 401k, as well as the option for Paid Time Off (dependent on amount requested).
Position Description:
The Business Analyst/Quality Analyst must be currently located in or around Des Moines, IA to be considered for this position. This position requires the contractor to be onsite 2 days/week. The Business Analyst/Quality Analyst will support high-profile unemployment insurance modernization and decommissioning initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a blend of business analysis and testing expertise and is a leader and strong team contributor.
Minimum Requirements:
10 years of involvement in prior technology implementations required.
10 years of leading requirements gathering and validation with SMEs required.
10 years of requirements and Use Case documentation required.
10 years of testing system functionality against requirements and specifications required.
10 years of identifying and developing necessary test data required.
10 years of creating and executing test plan required.
5 years of training staff on system functionality as developed required.
5 years of reporting on project progress required.
5 years of experience using Atlassian Suite - Jira, Confluence, etc. required.
3 years of a background in Finance/Accounting projects required.
10 years of excellent communication skills required.

This individual will be part of a talented team that works on mission-critical applications using Agile methodologies. Projects include enhancements to client Unemployment Tax system and data warehouse/reporting systems. The ideal candidate will have a blend of business analysis and testing expertise and is a leader and strong team contributor who is eager to learn and develop their craft as a software professional and will find great satisfaction in the patient pursuit of excellence. This individual will be responsible for gathering requirements, facilitating requirements sessions with business stakeholders, and delivering quality assurance.
