Description
EMIT Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring that fabricated items meet the critical dimensions and tolerances specified in customer drawings. Also tasked with monitoring customer-specific requirements to maintain product quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Physically measure product dimensions and compare them to drawing specifications.
• Document and track quality documents in the production control system and Quality Management System (QMS).
• Perform daily checks on products ready for coating, ensuring adherence to critical dimension conformance and customer requirements, as well as checking quantity and tagging.
• Conduct regular quality assessments on outgoing products to ensure shipping accuracy.
• Reject any products or materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
• Communicate nonconforming items and quality control concerns to the production team to enhance product excellence.
• Resolve quality-related issues promptly and escalate nonconforming products to the Quality Control Specialist and Quality Assurance Manager.
• Document inspection outcomes by completing the 'Quality Control Checklist' document in the QMS.
• Monitor production phases at various levels to identify any missing quantities requiring rework to fulfill the entire coating quantity.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• 1-3 years of experience in welding - ability to read blueprints and understand weld symbols.
• Proficient in math and technical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong understanding of quality control standards with high attention to detail.
