Amotec is actively seeking an HVAC Mechanical Designer ! Our client offers a variety of HVAC solutions for commercial and residential industries. The HVAC Mechanical Designer is responsible for creating detailed HVAC system designs using CAD software. This is a full-time 1st shift opportunity, and our client offers a competitive base salary, bonus and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing accurate technical drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, for HVAC systems
• Collaborating with engineers and designers to ensure designs meet project requirements and standards
• Incorporating specifications and design parameters into CAD drawings
• Generating documentation such as equipment schedules, material lists, and technical specifications
• Assisting in the coordination of HVAC systems with other building components, such as architectural and structural elements
• Keeping abreast of industry trends, standards, and best practices related to HVAC design and CAD software.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 4 years of experience with AutoCAD experience is required
• Minimum 4 years with HVAC system design experience
