Job Title: Power BI Business Data Analyst

Location: Remote in Greater Seattle Area



Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Data Analyst with a broad focus on data analysis across various business areas to drive business decisions and enhance operational efficiency. This role requires leading data-driven projects, ensuring data accuracy, and transforming complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can manage client relationships, resolve issues proactively, and very importantly, lead a team of analysts and engineers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee data analysis projects across various business areas to
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and data requirements.
  • Generate Power BI queries to match and validate outcomes.
  • Interpret data trends and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and dashboards for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies.
  • Analyze expected data inputs and outputs from AI models to ensure accurate interpretations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 5-6 Business Data Analysts and foster a data-driven team culture
  • Drive team productivity, measured by the successful delivery of insights.
  • Work closely with product team leads, Power BI engineers, and other data analysts.
  • Manage client stakeholders and ensure delivery with minimal direction.


Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience as a Business Data Analyst
  • 2-4 years in a leadership role managing a team of engineers.
  • Proficient in Power BI, SQL, DAX, Power Query. Data modeling and proficiency in Python/Pandas is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in developing and implementing data models.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics or Statistics.
  • Experience analyzing data from AI models and generating actionable insights.
  • Full professional proficiency in English, including native-level fluency.



Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $95,000 – $114,000 USD annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
