Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Logistics Manager to oversee our logistics operations in the Solar Tracker industry. This role will be responsible for managing the entire logistics process, including customs clearance, inland transportation, and ensuring compliance with DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management, particularly in the renewable energy sector, and experience dealing with customs regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate all logistics activities, including inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods, optimizing logistics processes.
  • Manage customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations and DDP requirements to mitigate risks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, and carriers to ensure reliable service.
  • Negotiate contracts and rates with logistics service providers to optimize costs.
  • Coordinate inland transportation logistics, ensuring efficient movement of goods from ports to project sites.
  • Monitor transportation performance and implement improvements as needed.
  • Collaborate with inventory management teams to ensure accurate tracking of shipments and stock levels.
  • Develop and implement inventory control processes to minimize losses and ensure availability.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, with a focus on customs, inland transportation and international logistics in the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with DDP terms and customs regulations relevant to the solar industry.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to oversee logistics operations and supplier meetings.
