Our client specializes in the research, development, and manufacturing of diagnostic reagents, and they are looking to add a QC Supervisor to their growing team!

Title: Quality Control Supervisor

Location: San Jose, CA

Salary: $85k-115k

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and implement quality control testing and inspections at various production stages.
• Responsible for the investigation and troubleshooting of product issues.
• Manage raw material secondary vendor studies and stability studies
• Prepare reports documenting any production or raw material issues encountered.
• Manage the QC Department, including project distribution, setting priorities, monitoring workloads, and managing deadlines.
• Oversee QC staff, including their management, discipline, and performance evaluation.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Biology or a related field, with 5+ years of quality control experience, or equivalent.
• Requires 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• Familiarity with Quality Control Management is strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping abilities.
• Demonstrated critical thinking, data analysis, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift or move items weighing up to 40 pounds.
