We are seeking a Junior Research Systems Administrator to join our driven research team. This is an amazing opportunity to work with a team that develops and supports an array of outstanding health sciences research programs.

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Key Tasks:

• Support the Bioinformatics team’s research computational infrastructure as a Linux and Window’s server administrator, enterprise data storage administrator, web server administrator.
• Perform all duties within an IT security-aware fashion
• Perform regular system updates including regular updates of storage system, virtualization system, SLURM cluster system, IT support ticketing system, Linux and Windows operating system, system backup, protecting research data and respecting privacy.

Requirements/Experience:

• Masters degree with 1-2 years of experience or Bachelors degree with 2-4 years of experience
