Our client, a leader in the production of aerosol products, is looking for a Environmental, Health, Safety, and Regulatory Manager to join their growing team!
Shift: M-F (8a-5p)
Pay: $110-120k
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures while incorporating accountability and responsibility for EHS performance into all levels of leadership and at a personal level for each employee.
- Ensure that EHS policies and procedures are incorporated into the foundation of all department operations.
- Conduct and lead MESH Assessments, PSM/RMP audits, PHA revalidation audits, and other EHS related audits.
- Complete timely and accurate EPA, OSHA, FRA, DOT compliance reports
- Conduct and lead accident/incident investigations and use the company’s cause mapping methodology to arrive at permanent corrective actions.
- Investigate incidents that lead to accidents or injuries and evaluate the corrective actions that were made to remedy the root cause(s) identified during an investigation.
- Focus on the effects of chemical and physical agents.
- Recognize, evaluate, and control these agents to keep people from becoming sick or injured.
- Recommend changes to keep workers from being exposed to sickness or injuries.
- Lead waste minimization and emissions reduction programs.
- Responsible for compliance with Federal regulators such as, but not limited to: DHS, DOT, EPA, FRA, and OSHA.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with risk and sustainability, ISO 14001, OSHAS18001, or ISO14501
